Alan,
I get my brake pads at Autozone . They have pads for BJ8.

Richard -
Let me ask you this Richard - When you order brake pads for your car, do you
order early model brake pads (i.e. same as BT7/BJ7/ early BJ8) or do you
order brake pads for a BJ8? This will help us figure out your problem.
Sounds like your hubs may indeed be machined wrong. Try this hub supplier
in the UK, they are the main manufacturer for most healey hubs in the
market:
ORSON EQUIPMENT.
UNIT 8 PEARTREE INDUSTRIAL PARK.
CRACKLEY WAY.
OFF PEARTREE LANE.
DUDLEY.
WEST MIDLANDS.
DY 2 0UW
UK
Telephone.......+44 1384.241717
Fax................+44 1384 240403
I just ordered direct from them for my early four stud axle BN1 and what
they delivered was the correct set of hubs.
Thanks,
Alan

List,
The original hubs are 8th/in (coarse). The knockoff for the new hub is also
coarse.
Earl said: If you had the correct hubs on the car to start with, they will
be the 'coarse thread' hub - and the outer bearing is indeed smaller.
This would imply the new hubs are machine wrong in that they should be fine
thread?
