My guess would be the contacts inside the flasher relay (box mounted on the
inside of the LF inner fender). Try disconnecting the green/white wire from
terminal 6 on this relay, and put 12v on this wire. If the bulb lights, the
contact points in the flasher relay need to be cleaned/adjusted. I think
there is a difference between BJ8 and BN7 wiring IMHO, don't know for sure,
but I work on BN7/BT7 cars.
