I have followed this thread on ebay: 1956 Austin Healey: 100BN2 Factory M

This Arizona 100M basket case went at ebay (Item 4598077) for $ 20,100.00 to
an Italian hero. Shipping plus customs declaration would cost him another $
5,000. The three highest bidders were all Europeans (from Denmark, The
Netherlands, Italy). Here in Europe there are presently at least two factory
100Ms for sale in good driving condition, each for less than
$ 50,000. I am a little puzzled and try to understand the reasons for these
high bids. Or is this "factory M" a very special one?
