FYI this item is shown on pages  PLATE A7 (#30) & MA10 (Illustration No. 30) 
in the BMC factory parts  list for BJ7 and BJ8. It is the plate adaptor for 
the filter unit. This  same part number is also listed in the Service Parts 
List 
for the  BN7 and BT7.
