painted screws

Here's a question for all you lint pickers out there!  Are the screws securing
the right-hand drive brake & clutch master cylinder blanking plate on BN7, BT7
& BJ7 cars paintes or zinc plated?  Assuming that this plate was in place when
the cars were painted, I would assume that they are painted.  Please submit
your "two-bits worth".  Richard Bittmann
