I have a 9, 6, 4, and 14 month old. The 9 year old lives with her mother
in England and has not yet ridden in a Healey (or knows what one is for
that matter). However, the 6 and 4 year old have a blast every time I take
mine out. I am only driving them around the neighborhood for a couple of
miles. One of the streets has a steep hill and when I approach it, I call
out, "O.K. guys, ready for the 2005 Pasquatank Hill climb?" I get this
scream for a response: "Yes!!!!". I run through the gears (up to 3rd) and
there is nothing but joy in that car for that moment in time. My son (4)
sits in the rear jump seat and holds onto the tonneau bar, and my daughter
(6) is holding the grab handle saying, "Look at my hair, it keeps hitting
my face". I can honestly say that the joy I get is seeing them having a
really fun time enjoying their ride out on the "town".

On a side note, my father-in-law is a minister and around the 75 year mark.
He has always wanted to ride in my car when I completed it. He got his
chance this Thanksgiving and boy did he get a ride. He held one hand on
his hat, and one on the grab handle (I might have to polish it with all the
use it is getting). He thanked me when we got out and he told his wife:
"I have just been for a ride".

I am thankful that other people get to enjoy this car as I do.

Listers, now there is an oddity - a Healey owner with a 4 year old! How
many others of you are there out there???
