Jack,

The Clarke Spares and Restorations catalog has 10-32 Posidrive machine screws
in 5 lengths 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" in a cadmium-plain silvertone
finish. .20ea, .18 ea per 25, .15 ea per 50, .13ea per 100. So your order of
120 would cost about $15.60

Friends,
I know restoring a Healey is costing a hell of a lot of money (don't ask
how I know...) but there are moments when I think my leg is really
being pulled, or whatever you may call it on the other side of the water.
I need about 120 screws, pan head, pozidriv, 10-32, zinc plated, in
different lengths. Here in Europe there are only a few addresses where
one can buy these things but judging at the prices these are not zinc
plated but gold plated..
I'm asked, for example, to pay 0.59 US$ for one 3/8"long screw and 0.74
US$ for a 5/8"long screw. In total it means I'll have to pay approx. 69
US$ for my 120 screws.

Do these prices baffle you, or are these prices rather common for 10-32
screws?

Your comments will oblige.

Thanks and regards,
