List, I changed the rear brake shoes on my 63 BJ7. Upon reassembly I discovered that I have at least 1 wheel stud that has the beginings of stripped threads, possibly 2 others. What is the best way to remove the studs and replace them? I have trried to tap them out but they will not clear the backing plate and cannot be removed that way. Help! What size is the stud, what type, what thread and pitch. Is there a known torque for the wheel nuts? I have wire wheels. Thanks Fred BJ7 |
