I hope someone can help with this. Couldn't find anyone to fix my
doors, so decided to fix them myself. Both were bashed a bit and had
rust on the bottom of one. I fixed the rusty one, it looks OK. It is a
1959 BN-7. Here is my question. How much crown is the door supposed to
have?

I think one can measure by doing the following: Take a straight edge and
holds it parallel to the swage line at say 3" and 8" down from the tip
of the swage line, and then measures how much each end stands off the
door. If the straight edge is held at each position down (3" and 8") so
that the ends stand off equally (say 1/2" inch at the front and rear
edge of the door), and then measures how far across the door from the
front edge the straight edge touches the door, that should characterize
the front to back crown. The top to bottom crown is defined by the
fenders, I think.

Can anyone please advise from a good door?

Thank you.
