Frankly, I use earphones. Too much noise what with the purr of the engine
and whistling of the wind, neither of which I want to discourage, to hear
anything through speakers.

Has anyone tried to hook a 'hidden' MP3 player into the amplifier
section of their period car radio? Some years back I thought about a
DiscMan hooked in (Healey suspension - ouch!), but MP3 makes much more
sense now, loaded with all your favourite 50s/60s nostalgia - hours and
hours of it, recorded off a golden oldie radio channel on the Internet!

Is there anything I might have overlooked that would make this difficult
or impossible? If no one's done it, I might have a go, and post details
here.

TIA
