Dave,
I cleaned mine up years ago with very fine steel wool (#0000) warm soapy
water and a lot of elbow grease. They looked nice, but still had some dents
and
gouges and corrosion pitting from years of abuse. Plus I then would have had
to anodize them.
I recommend a new set from Kilmartin in Australia. They are near perfect
copies of the originals.
