James:
Ullapool is a small fishing village (pop. 1300) on the Northwest coast of
Scotland. Its a ferry port for the Outer Hebrides islands. It is somewhat
off the beaten track.
There are no American military installations anywhere near so far as I can
tell.
Its an interesting question how the car got to that isolated spot without
having FIRST paid the required import taxes and inspection fees.
Tell him you've a friend in Scotland that can come see it... and if, he
wishes, pay cash on the spot. He should really like that, don't you suppose?
Wonder what will happen then?
James.
PS. Looking at his picture gallery, the vegetation looks amazingly tropical
for someplace so very far north- on a par with northern Labrador or southern
Alaska... maybe its something in the water?
