I'll go one further....
Anyone who doesn't think it is time to combine the two national clubs has
their head in the sand. Let's put parochialities aside and leverage on
economies of scale.
Combine the clubs.
JR
P.S. I know there is no such word as "parochiality".

Subject: EDITOR CHANGES AT BOTH NATIONAL HEALEY MAGS
> excerpt from sep/oct Healey Trails, published by the north tx ah club:
>
> Effective Jan 1, 2006 Reid Trummel has announced he will be leaving
> Austin Healey Magazine to assume the editorship of Healey Marque. His
> reasons for leaving are personal. He has been the editor, former
> president of AHC, USA and again editor of the premiere Healey publication.
> He will raise the bar at Healey Marque. Hopefully, Reid will be able to
> survive in the den of vipers without anyone to watch his back.
>
> AH Magazine was fortunate to be able to obtain Gary Anderson as its new
> editor , also effective Jan 1. Gary's credentials are well known. Editor
> of Healey Highlights in the 80's as well as former president of Austin
> Healey Club, Pacific Centre. He was the editor/publisher of British Car
> which he sold several years ago. Gary and Roger Moment co-authored the
> 100/100-6/3000 Restoration Guide which is most likely the top selling
> Healey manual of all time. Gary has recently published a book on the new
> Mini and contributes numerous articles on other British cars to various
> publications. Gary still owns his Gold Concours BN7 driver as well as
> actively campaigning his MGA in numerous vintage races.
>
> Who will prosper from these future changes ? YOU, the Healey enthusiast
> and reader.
> Anyone who doesn't subscribe to both publications surely has his head in
