By replacing your stock old springs with new springs you will probably
get a gain of an inch anyway.
Not sure why one would want to change the design without certain
objectives (read tune for a specific track).
I replaced all 4 springs and all went well. Initially it sat maybe a
half inch higher than it does now. It took about
50 miles of turns and bumps to "settle" things in.
Here is what it looks like after new springs. It is no 4WD.
