Larry and Linda Patterson are Canadian participants in the AUHC and will be
leaving Danville (VIR) tomorrow and arriving in Watkins Glen on Thursday for
the next event in the series. They are towing their 100M racecar in a closed
trailer with a large pickup.
They'd like to spend a few nights in NYC--probably Monday and Tuesday--but do
not feel comfortable parking their rig in a lot and taking a commuter train in.
Is there anyone who lives in the New Jersey area who might be willing to let
them park their truck and trailer for two nights in a somewhat secure location
so that they can catch a train into the city?
They are leaving from the track tomorrow so if I see an answer in tomorrow
morning's emails I can pass it along to them--or someone can call me at
305-793-9467 and I can perhaps pass a message along to them.
BTW the event at VIR today was sensational: There were 49 Healeys (big and
little) on the track at one time! The Aussies Peter Jackson, Paul Freestone
and Tim Pyne captured 1, 2 and 3--Jeff Johnk (US) was #4.
Best--Michael Oritt
