I recently installed a new camshaft in my BN2. No other changes were made. I now have excessive oil pressure. 80psi at 3000rpm and 90 psi at 4000rpm. I have installed a new oil pressure relief piston and spring with no change to the oil pressure. I have removed the oil sump screen, the relief valve, and inspected the oil passage on the relief circuit. I don't see any reason why the relief system isn't working. Any ideas would be welcome.
