I found the horse drawn Trabant to be a great political joke, somehow.
Gotta love it--a Trabant, too, fa cryin' out loud! I bet that farmer found a
better use for the Trabby's nasty 2-stroke engine. And he didn't need any
carbide saw to cut through it's plastic bodywork--a tree-pruning saw would
have done it.
Is that a Johann Deere hat he's wearing?
Reminds me of the farmer, who, after WWII, bought a surplus P-40 because he
thought he could build something out of the landing gear. When his plans
didn't work out he took his skip loader and made a P-40-shaped hole and
buried it!
FWIW--that plane is now flying again out of the Warhawk Museum in Caldwell,
Idaho.
Stream-of-consciousness on a Sunday evening!
