Lifters and Pushrods

A while back there was a discussion about lifters and pushrods that came 
from a Straight 8 Buick I think, that could be used in a 4 cylinder 
engine.  Supposedly a common performance mod back in the day.  Someone 
on the list had part numbers for these or at least where to buy them.  
Anyone remember?
