Chuck:
If you Google "SU Needle" you will find a site called Teglerizer that has an
interactive listing of all the SU needles. It will give you the dimensions
at each station (every 1/8 inch) of every needle. I I have found that if
you copy the measurements of a particular needle to an excel spread sheet,
and then do the same for another needle you want to campare and then
generate a bar graph of the two needles, it will give you a good visual
reference of the differences in the profile of the needles you are comparing
Remember, the thicker the needle at any station, the leaner that needle is
at that position
I am in the midst of zeroing in on the right needle for my bugeye, which I
have superchareged with a Judson, and am using an SU HS6. So far I am
running too rich. I have a leaner needle on it's way from Joe Curto. If
that doesn't work we'll go from there.
Good luck with your project.
