windshield chroming

when i painted my bj8 last summer, i replaced the rubber in the windshield and
the seal to the car.  it was not as hard as i thought it would be. i used
liquid soap and was very careful when i put the sides and top of windsheild
back on.  i was by myself and worried about dropping things, but no problem. i
screwed in the bolts one or two turns at a time, alternating from side to side
and trying to keep everything equal.  hasn't cracked yet.  healeymanjim
