I've just recently joined the list and have already benefited from the
great advice and banter from the list members. It's so helpful to hear from
others sharing their knowledge about our mutual obsession.
For me, the last year has been spent getting the nitpicky stuff done
on my BJ8. As such, the shop(s) have had it much more than I and I've not
driven it much.
Today was the first sunny day we've seen in California in quite a
long time. (We've just experienced the wettest winter in over 100 years.) The
combination of the spring fever brought on by the sunshine, and the enthusiasm
from this group motivated me to get the BJ8 out of the warehouse and take the
"long route" to the restaurant where I was meeting a client. What a blast!
Anyway, not much to say but just wanted to share that after the
seemingly endless issues and resources spent keeping a 37 year old car humming,
all
of that disappears in an instant with the top down and that incomparable,
throaty exhaust sound. So...if you haven't actually gotten out and enjoyed
your
Healey for a while, the season is here and now's the time!
