i recently replaced two caliper pistons because i suspected that one of the
left pistons was sticking. after removing it i found where some of the chrome
plating was peeling off. i replaced with stainless steel pistons. the left
brake now began to grab and pull the wheel to the left. i have swapped pads
and pistons around and cleaned the rubber parts thoroughly and made sure no
rust in the seal groove. the lines are clear and the calipers have no
blockage. the pistons on the right were fine, but i believe they are chrome.
i measured them all with a micrometer and they are all exactly the same
diameter. i now have a new piston on the right side and a new one on the left
side, but still grabs on the left. rotors are good and no warp. any ideas?
