laygear

I have seen the odd question about laygears and their numbers--are these
numbers stamped on the laygear somewhere? I have a used but good laygear for a
sideshift but I have no idea of the number and thus the specific application.
By the way, could those looking for parts indicate their location as some
parts are too heavy to ship economically for any great distance!
