Can't help mouthing off here. I don't care how much the resto rods go
for. Yechh! some people have no taste!
As for paying too much for restoring a Healey (IMHO) to concours, it
does cost more than 30,000$ to restore one nowadays. Lots more. It
should cost more to buy that car than market value. I think there is
a big difference between a painstaking restoration and your average
lift-the-door-to-close-it car. A lot of the cars I have seen out
there are amateur restorations, so you can't expect top dollar for
them. Maybe that's part of the reason why the're undervalued....Or
maybe It's because some people have no taste!
