The size of the main and rod bearings will be determined by how much material
they grind off the crank to get a suitable bearing surface. If it cleans up
by grinding .020" off, then you need .020" under bearings. Do not order the
bearing before you know what size the crank is ground to.
If you go with an aluminum pan you won't be able to drive the corn fields in
Illinois.
