Derek,
you are saying
> .... production of BN4s carried on until April 1958 before production
>switched to BN6s.
The Heritage Certificate for my BN4-L-S-/74810 says: Date built 31 December
1958 - 1
January 1959, Date despatched 14 January 1959 to a dealer in LA.
Specification LHD, North American Export, Basic. Equipment: Disc Wheels, Heater,
Adjustable steering column, Laminated windscreen, Road Speed tyres, _LESS_
overdrive,
_LESS_tonneau cover.
Colour: Ivory white with black interior and top.
So probably the built date is wrong. Gary Anderson and Roger Moment are also
saying in
their book that the last 100-Six were produced in March 59. Last #74421 later
changed to
77766.
Anyone having an idea? Sat the 100-6 somewhere from April/March until December
waiting to
get exported?
Regards from Germany and a Happy and Healthy New Year to all listers!
Martin
