Patton,
Most of your questions can be answered by checking out Derek Job's site on
the 100/six.
www.healeysix.net
Pictures and explanations can also be found on Justbrits web site.

When you get to Derek Job's site, check out the pics under "An Original Car"
and "Longbridge Interior".
The shut face and threshold plates were a very bright and shiny finish. They
should have an anodized finish so they won't go dull. Once the original
finish has been scrubbed off it's pretty much impossible to get it back to
stay. Why don't you get a new set and use the originals to copy exacting
details like how they fit the car and interlock together to form a
continuous finished look?
You will need the door shut piping to edge the shut pillar plate. See the
photos.
You will also need the furflex edging as per a Hundred to finish the front
quarter trim and the leading edge of the door. Again see the photos.
