Thanks for your hospitality this summer when I passed through Marquette on
the way to Conclave. As I drove across the UP I saw that many of the mailboxes
seemed to have some kind of pivotting design and I surmised that it had
something to do with keeping them above the snow as it was plowed to the
roadside.
Can you explain this function?
