Hi Everyone, How far should the dipstick tube project out from the block? When tapping the new tube in, I never felt it hit any kind of "stop". I don't know if I went too far or not far enough. Does anyone have the length from the block to the tip of the flare? I'd hate to put the wrong amount of oil in the engine from so simple a mistake. I'm installing a oil cooler so I can't just add the recommended amount from the manual. Many thanks for any help. Happy Holidays, Greg |
