Healey Helpers, I'm trying to reassemble the pedal arms on the pedal shaft but have run into a problem. The bronze bushes in the brake and clutch pedal arms measure .625" inside dia. The plain bearings which go on the shaft for these arms measure .685 outside dia. How could they have grown .030" in O.D.? I did zinc plate them but I wouldnt think that it would be a coating that thick. How should I proceed? Thanks in advance to all who can give any guidance. Richard Bittmann BJ7 |
