Where the air hose goes from the fan out to the hole in the cross member
behind the grille, -the hose just mounts in the open hole.
Quaint, aint it?

I think he means the other end, at the front of the car. I've wondered the
same thing. That is how I found my duct end when I disassembled the car
last August.
