Door chrome installation

How do I install the chrome "door moulding" on a BJ7 (parts AHB 9569&70)?
Does the window need to be out of the way?  Is there a chaulking on the
under side?  Hmm, I see (using John's new digital parts list :-)) that there
is a rubber seal on the outside of the window (parts AHH 6348&9, which are
also not yet installed).  Do the clips for these work with the door
moulding?  Thanks as always
