Hi Heard,
I don't quite understand your question as the Panhard rod on a Healey
consists of a piece of around 3/4" diameter tube with a 5/16" thread welded
in each end. It should not have a bend in it.
One end of this rod is secured in rubber bushes to a bracket attached to the
left spring U bolts and the other, also in rubber bushes, to a bracket
welded to the right frame member.
The purpose of the Panhard rod is to limit the movement of the rear axle
"east / west" so to speak.

Hello,
Can someone verify for me that the short, bent end of the pan hard rod
mounts to the left side of the rear axle as opposed to the frame rail
bracket. I've never seen this on my car and want to make sure I don't have
it mounted backwards. Thanks.
