I didn't want to be see dishing on the DW sway bar, just noted that we
experienced a failure of the welds due to not setting the MIG hot enough.
The performance, while it lasted, was terrific.
I would urge all to be cautious, whether using a bolt-on or welded mount.
Fom what I am learning in speaking to several performance freaques for all
Marques, the force transfers involved are very high, and that the attachment
has to be really secure. I had a bolt-on rear sway on my BJ8 in the '70's,
and had no problem with it, so that may be a way to go.
Luckily when our gave loose we were going along a straight part of the road.
If the sway bar had buckled under loading in a curve, it could have been
disastrous.
