I dont believe in conicidences so I think Ive screwed something up.
I started my car without problem this morning and moved it about 10 feet to
where I could work on it. (its not at my home)
I then installed a Panhard rod, no problens there.
I then removed the rear bumper as part of my move to a more competition look
for the car. I removed the number plate light and taped up the wites. I removed
the battery to enable easier access to the bumper irons. One of the nuts kind
of indirectly shares the same post as the earth. My battery switch has never
been connected.
I then put the battery back in and prepared to test the panhard rod. Pressed
the starter, nothing, pressed it a couple more times and got a whirring noise
followed by a click coming from the direction of the starter.
It was then lunchtime so I came homed to ponder the problem
So
Is my stsrter stuck? or broken?
Is it the solenoid?
Is it just a coincidence or have I messed something up when removing the bumper
Would appreciate thoughts before I go back to it
cheers
Derek
