The answer, in case anyone was just dying to know, was a 1936 Singer Lemans (a Roots group car) that won the one and only Olympic car race. Apparently Hitler wanted to also showcase his superior cars and had the same success that he had showcasing his human athletes. In addition I believe the driver was a woman named Haig.
