Well, this probably doesn't count, but, at the 1963 NCSCC Sports Car Olympics
at Squaw Valley CA, my BT7 tricarb, which I still own, took the Austin-Healey
marque award! We placed in nearly every event, including showing several
Porsches the fast way up the Mt. Rose hillclimb. Same year we took the NCSCC
rally championship, with the legendary Bob Selvidge as navigator. Apologies for
the nostalgia - but we sure had fun.
