Tim, a couple of things, one: please put a subject on your E mails! lots
of people filter "no subject" emails so they never see them, and others won't
open them. Also, for future reference, like archiving, it helps to have a
subject.
on to seat slides:
pound out the drive pin, I can't remember right now, but it might like to go
out one way better than the other, then you can just work the slides and the
balls will fall out. Grind off the studs and weld on new ones, you can use
bolts if you watch the head clearance. Get them re plated if you like and
then work new balls in. finally space out the balls so you have two
together each side, each end, lubricate and done!
