Hi Barry - Best thing to do is to get the largest filter you can find with an anti-drainback valve on it (this keeps oil in the filter - lubricates your engine better on start up). The best I've found so far that fits the bill is Fram PH43 (or equivalent - fram's a crappy filter) or WIX 51068. This is the same filter used on MGBs, and is available everywhere.
