Hi Tom, Alan,

I hadn't considered the problem of the vibrating when mounting on a badge bar.
Although I do have a vague memory of having been in a car somewhere where the
lights did that, and Alan, you're right, It is annoying. I DO like the way
they look on the badge bar better, and really have a "thing" about drilling
holes in body panels, but it would also be nice if they were functional w/o
the shaking.
Guess now, I'll have to decide if I want to "see good when I'm driving" or
"look good when I arrive". I bought them mainly for looks, (which is probably
why I haven't got them wired up yet.) -I don't plan to do a lot of high speed
night driving.... :-)
Tom, I sprung for 1 NOS original and one very good rechromed original Lucas
Flamethrower. (There's guy in CT who must have an arrangement with Satan,
because he always has NOS goodies like lights, an NOS Shelly Jack, etc etc.)
-Right now I still owe him my first born...

Anyway, Tom, Having looked mine over, and a few of the reproductions, the
reproductions look very good. Very hard (for me) to tell them apart. The only
clear difference being the number of rivets through the back of the light. If
I remember correctly my originals have five small rivets while the
reproductions have 3 larger ones. I don't Know if the mounting / aiming
hardware works any better, as I haven't lit them yet, but I'll let you know.
