Ron the Dupont # is 8179 Nason Acrylic single stage, the Dupont # came
from an old paint book, but is still a valid #. The body shop said the
single stage with hardener would be best for the frame, fender wells and
engine compartment as it would have a higher gloss, and more than likely
I would not spend a lot of time polishing these areas in the future. I
was going to use clear coat on the body, but the single stage turned out
nicely.
Rick thanks for the info on the straps but as pointed out by others
these are the wrong parts for the 62 my mistake.
