Dick, I did that rear bumper mount antenna thing years ago before I started restoring my car. Used a short wound-fiberglass whip antenna and a right angle bracket to the bumper bolt. The antenna stood between the car body and bumper. I thought it looked ok, and it worked great! When designing the bracket, set the antenna as close to the bumper as possible so that the trunk lid doesn't bang the antenna when the lid is opened... David W.
