I am replacing the rear springs in my "59 BT7. With the axle sitting on the rubber bumps on the top of the frame, there is a gap of about 2 inches between the fixing point on the bottom of the axle and the top of the spring. The springs will have to be drawn up to complete the attachment after which the axle will be held tightly down to the frame. This does not seem right. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.
