It is with great sadness that I read this news. I had just got to know Jim
and Shirley on the Tour after the Texas Conclave in June/July.
We really enjoyed Jim's (and Shirley's) company and will always remember my
"birthday lunch" with them sitting with both cars in a single car wash bay
in the pouring rain because neither of us could see where we were going. We
spent an hour in the car wash, sharing whatever food we could find in either
car and great conversation and laughs.
He will be missed. Our condolences to Shirley and their family.
