I agree about the looks and the desire to own some, but I'm not sure
they are much less practical than the ones that replaced them.
I'd say that on an impracticality scale they would run a 10 for the
original and a 9.5 for the "improved".
All in all if I ever get a chance I will gladly put up with any
disadvantages they may have. I don't have much need for side curtains
anyway and they would sure dress the old girl up on display.
