I'm finally getting around to fitting the plumbing for the 5 speed
conversion on my BN1 but I have run into a problem: I can NOT get the copper
pipe end to seat in the master cylinder. In looking at it, it seems the
small unthreaded part at the bottom of the male fitting is just to long to
allow the threaded part enough room to "bite" into the threads of the master
cylinder. Am I missing something? Is there some sort of adapter between
these two that I don't have?
