Neil:
The relays I use in my BT7 (and used in my BJ8 years ago) are made by
Motorola for keying 2-way radios that draw a lot of current. I've never had
one fail in my lighting circuits. They're metal-enclosed relays and can heft
24 Amperes or more. They have low-current 12-V coils. Try a local 2-way
communications shop. A friendly installer may give you one or two.
