That Healey sounds as if it would be worth following up. Perhaps you could
contact the current archivist at Gaydon, provide the information you have, and
ask them to check to see if there is a Healey parked around the Royal Mews
somewhere. I remember a discussion with the BMIHT curator regarding the
interesting cars the Royal Family had owned -- Prince Charles learned to drive
in an
MGC-GT which the Royal Family still owns, and had an Aston Volante made with a
cigar case in the console, for example. Some of the Royal Classics are on loan
to Gaydon. If there is a Healey hiding somewhere around Buck House or one of
the retreats, Gaydon and the BMIHT should find out about it.
