Cam Questions / 3/4 ?

Rick and Eric,

I believe the term 3/4 cam came from the old racing days
(40's-50's) referring to "Hot-Rod" Ford flathead V8 engines.

 "Full Race" being the hottest cam developed in those days
and not being very streetable.

Backyard hobbyist terminology in those days not as sophisticated as today.
