Pulley / Damper

Greetings All,
I bought one of those new dampers from Moss. Does not fit on the crank. Old
one fits fine. Anyone else have this problem? Any tricks I may be missing?
Even lubed up it got stuck and won't come off with a gear puller. I may hook
a chain to the bumper of my truck and drag the engine by the pulley around
the block if all else fails.
